Jaime Chimuelo
I had a Helluva time getting used to the Privia but am pleased with is as a MIDI controller. I do need help from a Pro here though with the Assign 1 button. Mine is set to where I have to hold down the Assign 1 button for Lower Manual C3 Vibratos and I really need it to be on or off. Can this be changed...? Is so name the page or explain and I will be indebted. Used in conjunction with the BCF 2000 I have preety much whatecet I need for pedals, switches and controllers, decent action and all for 675 dollars. Goota love old technology. Joe Muscara
Sorry, Assignable 1 "is designed so it is on when pressed and off while released." (Manual p E-24) "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Hoo hoo!" - Daffy Duck "The good news is that once you start piano you never have to worry about getting laid again. More time to practice!" - MOI
B3bluesman59
Anyone know the difference between the PX3 and the PX3S?
AnotherScott
Anyone know the difference between the PX3 and the PX3S? Basically, it no longer says "limited edition" on it, and the LEDs are red. Just a minor tweak in production, but enough to require a new identifier. Actually, the full identifying name of the previous one was PX-3BK. Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
Jaime Chimuelo
Thanks Joe,Since mine is a PX3S and the manual is an older PX series I was hoping for a secret improvement. I wanted my lower manual Vibrato there, but I think adding another BCR to the BCF 2000 will do. These double as controllers for my custom Modular IV app from Scope, and the extra pedal will cover this, cheaper than buying the MIDI Solutions Pedal Controller too. I haven't got a clue why the PX3S is what it is, but it's a fine little controller takes up no room and the action is suitable for every instrument I use live.
