(As I replied elsewhere, as well) Nice. Welcome to the Guitar Forum, FrankNew111!

Classic, upbeat kinda Blues. Somethin' about your playing there makes me imagine it fitting well in a T. Rex track... !

One of my gigs is a solo effort.  I felt a need to augment the lower octave so bought a Boss OC-5 because it has the feature to only double the lowest note I play.  Here's what it sounds like.  Much better than my TC-E Sub-n-Up, as with only one note doubled it's less glitchy.  But.....Is it better?  Is it worse? Or is it just different?  Your opinions, please.

Things are just the way they are, and they're only going to get worse.

That OC-5 sounds tight and smooth and pretty natural there!

Sandman, America 1971

America is the debut studio album by America, released in 1971. It was initially released without "A Horse with No Name", which was released as a single in late 1971. When "A Horse with No Name" became a worldwide hit in early 1972, the album was re-released with that track.

The album went to No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in the United States and stayed there for five weeks.
Sandman is the second track in that album, "Sandman" (long-rumored to be about the United States Navy VQ-2 air squadron formerly based in Rota, Spain).

This song is dedicated to all our Airmen and Flyers of the US Navy.
For their bravery and commitment to our freedom and democracy!!!

Love
Love me like raincloud
Pouring from above
Saturating raincloud
Bathed in your love
Lost in your love
Wrapped in your everlasting love

Your everlasting love
I wanna get wrapped in
Your everlasting love
Wrapped in your everlasting love
Wrapped in your everlasting love

You
Come and spend a lifetime
With every step of the way
Tears of joys and sorrows
Bathed in our love
Lost in our love
Wrapped in our everlasting love

You communicate very well through your music, I think. I need to take a cue and be more receptive to those who have trouble communicating, or don't communicate the same way that I do; and to sometimes be a little softer, milder, gentler and kindlier, and less boisterous, brash, bigmouthed and loud. :)  Thank you for the good example and reminder of such things.

I remember listening to that before, Brother Winston! Very nice. Dinner music for ghosts. Both the melodic and timbral character- the envelope, I guess- of those notes and phrases somewhat evoke that of the synthesized electronic harmonica sounds of the '70s and '80s, and I mean in a good way. Also somehow Stevie Wonder's melodic and harmonic sensibilities and sensitivities.     :)

I like the idea of putting little Miss Miku through overdrive, distortion, and/or fuzz, as has been discussed elsewhen'n'where 'bouts.

I'm also curious as to how she would respond to, say, an EBow, Sustainor pickup, or my beloved Sustainiac Model C gizmo, and the literally endless sustain and rich harmonic overtones that are possible with such units...

You May Be Right, Billy Joel 1980

"You May Be Right" is a single written and performed by rock singer Billy Joel from his 1980 album Glass Houses. The song reached #7 on the US charts and #6 in Canada. It failed to chart, however, in the UK. This is unlike his preceding and succeeding singles "All for Leyna" (UK #40) and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" (UK #14). The Japanese single features "Close to the Borderline" as a B-side.

For all the "Yes Man" of our world, you may be wrong!!!
Peace and love to all peoples!!!

Simple Man, Graham Nash 1970

Graham Nash wrote this heartbreaker on June 7, 1970, just hours before his show with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young at the Fillmore East in New York City, where he performed it for the first time. The day before, he broke up with Joni Mitchell, whose life together he sang about in the 1970 CSN&Y track "Our House." It was devastating for Nash. "My whole world fell apart," he said.

Dedicated to all our heart-broken fellow men and women.
Time heals. Love is the greatest!!!

Magnolia, by J.J. Cale 1971

John Weldon "J. J." Cale (December 5, 1938 – July 26, 2013) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and sound engineer. Though he avoided the limelight, his influence as a musical artist has been acknowledged by figures such as Mark Knopfler, Neil Young, Waylon Jennings, and Eric Clapton, who described him as "one of the most important artists in the history of rock". He is one of the originators of the Tulsa sound, a loose genre drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz.

This song is dedicated to all guitar players and songwriters.
A song as simple as this is pure beauty and truly majestic.

Hope, Peace and Love to all peoples.

Grandma's Hands, by Bill Withers 1971

"Grandma's Hands" is a song written by Bill Withers about his grandmother. It was included on his first album Just as I Am (1971), and was released as a single.

Withers' maternal grandfather, Gracchus Monroe Galloway (1855–1937), had been born into slavery. In his youth, Withers attended church with his maternal grandmother, Lula (1868–1953), where she would sing and clap along with the hymns. He later said: "It was spontaneous singing, there was nothing programmed. People got up and sang and everybody would join in. It was my favorite kind of singing.

Dedicated to all grandmothers, and for all of us who remember our "Lola".

Lucy In There Sky With Diamonds, Lennon McCartney Beatles 1967

"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

Lennon's son Julian inspired the song with a nursery school drawing that he called "Lucy – in the sky with diamonds".
Shortly before the album's release, speculation arose that the first letter of each of the nouns in the title intentionally spelled "LSD". Lennon repeatedly denied that he had intended it as a drug song, and attributed the song's fantastical imagery to his reading of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland books.

This song id dedicated to my wonderful and beautiful sister, Ruby Del Rosario, and to her who family. This song also goes to her loving life-partner, Armin, a successful banker, Civil Engineer, and Home Builder.
Happy Birthday, Ruby!!!

We love you!!!
