Bobadohshe
Has anyone here heard the song "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart"? I was perusing the Billboard top 10 RnB/Hip Hop chart and that song is at #5. I was amazed to hear the wash of vintage sounding synths on it. And I'm not talking about modern hip hop production with a sprinkling of fat detuned leads, I'm talking about this sounds like it was coproduced by Chip Davis. I guess it shows you that a vocal can make or break most anything. Dana.
Yep. The whole album is like that. Vintage synths, CP80... Very reminiscent of old Prince. I never liked her early albums, but I'm loving this new one.

Bobadohshe
While we're on the topic of her being easy on the eyes, has anyone else seen this hilarious SNL Digital Short? Dave Pierce
That was some funny shit right there, Bobby! I love Alicia Keys. I bought the new album the day iTunes told me it was out. And every time I listen to it I like it a little more. --Dave Make my funk the P-funk. I wants to get funked up. reidmc
That short is great. Is the rest of the new SNL that funny? Haven't really watched it since the late 80s. Joe Muscara
That short is great. Is the rest of the new SNL that funny? The reviews of the current SNL are mixed as they always have been. The Digital Shorts are done by The Lonely Island, a group that Andy Samberg is part of. Those seem to be the most popular part of the show. (The other two members are SNL writers now.) http://thelonelyisland.blogspot.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lonely_Island "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible!
