JohnDoe
Does anyone here have any experience of using coaxial speakers as stage/pianomonitors? I have a pair of old monitors with a 10" woofer and a small treblehorn, no good sound. I´m thinking of pulling out the horn and replace the woofer with a 10" coaxspeaker, hoping to get a smooth, even respons. Am I right in this? BillWelcome Home Studios
not as stated, for several reasons. toad
I've done it with a JBL style coaxial 12" and blew'em, then had to wait a year to get'em back(under warranty). Now I just use it for a garage speaker. Think I paid almost 300.00 for the raw speaker. Still works though!
