octa
my usual rig is the electro 2 with nord lead 2x and kurzweil me-1 supplying the occasional string/horn/other. for certain gigs i leave the 2x at home. when using the electro as controller for me-1 i can't find a way to not change patches on me-1 when i change sounds on the electro. i tried "local off" but looking through the manual i don't see any other options. surely there is a simple way to accomplish this. with the nord lead 2x i turned "program off"? or something and it works perfectly. help? bloodyMary
Look for something like "Patch change receive on/off" parameter in your ME1 manual. Stage: MOX6, V-machine, and Roland AX7 Rolls PM351 for IEMs. Home/recording: Roland FP4, a few guitars
Tonysounds
Doesn't have it...I looked at the online manual, and there's no turning that off. About the only thing I can recommend is setting your ME1 to OMNI mode and see if that at least will prevent program changes: if it does, it should still allow you to play the module from the Electro; Of course that method has its own drawbacks. Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
