saxofunk
Many of you know I played sax at church for about nine years in church. I'm no longer with the band, but I won't forget how much I developed by working with other serious musicians in that setting. This past weekend they covered Trans Siberian Orchestra and did a might fine job of it. I just have to share... - Matt W.
Brocko777
Nice Job, they just came through town yesterday in RI. Always a great show. Don't have a job you don't enjoy. fingertalkin
That was cool. I think the TSO is coming to DC this weekend. Keyboards are totally an awesome instrument. How do you sign a computer screen?
davio
Cool. I wasn't very fond of some of their phrasing (maybe a result of listening to that song entirely too much when it came out) but the execution was solid.
saxofunk
Phil - On behalf of the church, thanks for noticing the video quality. The short history on that is that the church was founded by a very media savvy pastor. That pastor is gone, his legacy is carried on by the new pastor who appreciates a high quality gadget. It doesn't hurt that one of the founding members owns a media supply company. davio - I hadn't really noticed. On the other hand I haven't heard TSO's version more than a couple times. Knowing the guitarists I bet they spent some time individually polishing the technical spots, as a group they probably ran through it just enough to avoid a train wreck. Maybe they'll nail phrasing next year. - Matt W.
