Edro Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 If you are extra paranoid (i.e. me) spend the $6.00 and buy a Dampit and keep it in the hole while not being used during the winter months. Yeah, paranoid would be one good description. I'm probably too careful with the electric basses, but even a $200 instrument IMO is an expensive investment. If it's what I like, I want it to be in good working condition. So, if an ABG is ever bought, the precautions you mentioned would be taken.
