Auto Accompaniment/Backing vsti?

I played the latest range of Yamaha digital pianos and really like the backing and accompaniment it gave me. I was wondering if there was anything in the vst world that would be able to do that while I played my Ivory software into it. Or even a module. For latin/jazz/pop nothing off the wall!

TIA

No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message.

In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

There is this product. I've had no experience with it.

Korg just announced the PA588 which is about the only arranger with an 88-note weighted keryboard. Looks interesting.

Yamaha announced the Motif Rack XS. While not an arranger, the arpeggios in the Motif were taken right from their arranger series, so they get you to pretty much the same place. The arrangers are actually more sophisticated and capable, but if you're looking for a module with good ROMpler sounds and arranger-like capabilities, the Motif Rack XS might be a choice.

BIAB isn't realtime although you can make it respond to your input, e.g. repeat section, go to ending, that kind of stuff. You would need to input all of the chord changes for the songs ahead of time. If you're on a PC, BIAB 2008 with realdrums can sound very good, especially if you limit the backing sounds to a good upright bass sound and maybe jazz guitar.
