zephonic
I came across this dude recently, while listening to a smooth jazz radio station . For those of you who like Bob James, Joe Sample, Bobby Lyle and whatnot, this is my new main guy. Real classy stuff. http://bsimpsonmusic.com/ local: Korg Nautilus 73 | Yamaha MODX8 away: GigPerformer home: Kawai RX-2 | Korg D1 | Roland Fantom X7

JezD
Brian's a funky dude! I think he was/is Dave Koz's musical director.
Bobadohshe
Funny I just discovered this dude on Saturday -- I was playing a wedding and the MC was playing this really well produced and happening smooth jazz (whatever that means!) between sets. I asked him who it was and he said Brian Simpson. I dug it. It's a certain sound and he has it in spades. A cocktail with just a hint of bop but not too much. Also the production was top notch.
