What can this strange device be?

When I touch it, it gives forth a sound

It's got wires that vibrate, and give music

What can this thing be that I found?

Congrats on scoring the ticks :thu:

I got the shaft on my try to score Rush ticks for a small venue show near me. Peaved me off.

You'll have to report to us about the show. I'm sure it'll be great.

Cool! RUSH is one of the only bands I would pay out the derriere

for good seats...if I had the dough.

Unfortunately, in LA, getting decent seats will be next to impossible. I'm taking binoculars.

My cousin, who is now a Grandma by the way, is forever bragging how she used to see Rush at a local pub in Port Dover, Ontario (Canada) with no cover charge, on a regular basis.

I used to go to highschool by Neil Pearts place (my claim to fame!), used to see him pick up his mail from time to time. We used to drive by his place cranking Rush tunes with the windows down...crazy highschool kids....

I only saw them once in the 80's, what a show!

So, I missed out on the fan club pre sale, due to the fact that the e mail notifying me of the fan club pre sale arrived at noon on the day that the fan club pre sale actually started at 10 am!! And, I didn't get home from work until about 3 pm.

Now, the "internet pre sale" (quite a bonus benefit of owning a computer, oh boy!!!) starts tomorrow, Friday, at 10 am. So, again, if you work, you are screwed!!!!! WTF does a workin fella have to do to get a decent ticket????

I hear that the presale to get tickets that allow you to clean the rest rooms on the day of the show starts at 10 am Saturday. At least I'll have a shot at them!!!

So much for Rush's interest in the Working Man!!!

So, I tried to get tickets yesterday on the "internet presale". Well, you needed a passcode, which I still don't have a clue about. I couldn't find out just where to get a passcode!!

Strike Two!

Luckily, I hit the "general public" onsale this am, and.....

drum roll please..........

I scored four tickets in the 36th row.

Frustrating experience, but I GUESS all's well that ends well. Me and my sons are in!!! :thu:

BTW....I paid close to $75 dollars in "facility charges, convienence charges, and order processing fees". I don't mind paying for something, but I DISLIKE BEING ROBBED.

I've heard some bands/venues have started selling direct to the public again. They refuse to use these crooks.

That would suit me just fine!!

I bought ticks once to see Aerosmith, via TicketBastard. :o

The band cancelled the show. I got a refund, but it was not a total refund. They refused to refund one of the various fees that they charge. So, I got not show, and TicketBastard got about $7 for nothing.

That just ain't right.

Ticketbastards.
