Audio-related job resources?

Recommended Posts

OK - I've had about enough of my employer, and it's time to start looking, economy be damned! Where would you look for audio-related jobs? I have years of live experience, some studio training (Analog! :thu: ) and broadcast audio experience, as well as some decent computer skills. Recommendations?

Connections, connections, connections.... I'd say try individual companies web sites (Yahmaha, M-audio (hint, hint) etc.) Try your local AES chapter... go to some meetings... talk to folks. Find a tradeshow ASAP. My job hunt really didn't go anywhere until the next AES show I went to... There's Infocomm in Orlando the first week of June. Sound system contractors and such.. Summer NAMM in July Don't forget to get me some Klotz stuff before you bail! :D Best of luck! Valky

Chris, Here's my page that focuses on Entertainment Employment Opportunities; direct links to the openings inside music industry sites. http://musicbizbuzz.net/business/careers.htm

You can take the man away from his music, but you can't take the music out of the man.
