Looks nice... a little innovation on the old LP! Features a P90 and a Burstbucker! I like the kill-switch feature where the pu selector used to be. A bit of a Buckethead influence, maybe??? I'll take one please!

What does BFG stand for? Bad F@#!in' guitar???

From my first impression, I'm thinking more like Big F@#!in' Grind! at least that's how it must sound anyway!

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Zan......you may be the benchmark, prototype example of.........G.A.S.!!

That is one cool axe. I've never seen, nor heard of one!! What a cool idea...neck P-90's can be so damn fat and sweet, and a bridge zebra 'bucker. Best of both worlds....I can't believe that hasn't been used more. They say it's a carved, but not sanded maple face.....I'd love to check that out.

When are you getting yours?

didn't it say everything was distressed in this?

kind of weird - you'd think they do some distressing to the body like fender and the srv model

I honestly don't know what to make of this thing. I'm sure it's reasonably priced (for a Gibson). I can't seem to find out what it costs though.

I'm still hoping one of these days I'll get a LP Custom back to replace the one I foolishly sold years ago.

I've never played this one, but I'm concerned that it could render your current LP into a back up!!!!

It is an interesting axe, eh????

After thinking about this for hours, I have to agree. I think I know what BFG means...

It mean's "butt freakin' gruesome".

i am guessing they are offering a toneful less dressed guitar for those who would like to rock without paying the price.

the basic finish would be good for roots rockers and punkers who don't worry about looks and the fear of scratches.

the sound and the fact it is built like a tank is the draw for me. and it is affordable.

as for the kill switch, it would be useful for some people.

the first thing i would do is move the "knob" from the kill switch to the selector.

allowing free arm movement without fear of hitting the kill switch by accident.

there is nothing stopping a buyer from doing a hand wiped finish after buying it.

i think it is a good idea to shave the price and have the basic sonic quality intact.
