I hope you have a Petco 'Pals' card. That little guy must eat you out of a house and home.

Total amatuer photographer me took that with no planning whatsoever. Lucky photo! ...

I was going to post that same comment about your first cat photo, Batgirl! Very nice!

Many of you have seen Domino, and a few might remember our Dalmation Taylor, but we have 6 cats and two dogs. I'll have to take some pics when we're home.

Here's Domino playing my mini-LP clone. Yes, that is really my cat and really my guitar. :D

Except usually I'm wearing the hippie headband, and the dog is older now, his face has changed some. I'll get more up-to-date photos when I can.

This is Angus. He's as big as a cow. But, he is named after another Angus. One that is near and dear to our hearts. :thu:

Thank you! I have a bit of a hard time accepting that we're talking about a child who is only 5 years younger than you.

From the time we got home Angel took a liking to me and refused to stay away! I'd put her down somewhere and she'd follow me around the room! In fact, I took several pictures of her by placing her on the bed with a plastic Shrek in the way and, sure enough, she climbed him to reach the edge of the bed, up onto my tripod, over the camera to climb up me. :D I still can't explain why. She didn't seem to concentrate on any particular area. Just wanted to be on my shirt or in my hair, etc.

The next day Denise and Lilly arrived home before me. D let Lilly take Angel outside on our porch and the three of them awaited my arrival. As soon as I walked up, Angel climbed over to me, climbed to the top of my head... and then took off! We hadn't seen her fly more than a hop. Now she elevated above the roof and flew over the corner. As I came around to see if she'd land somewhere I could recover her, a bird flew down like an F-18 and plucked her from the sky.:(

I looked for another, last year, but didn't find any. I'd like to see if we could keep one a few weeks. They only live part of the summer season here in Tennessee. Around September they die off after mating and laying eggs, so they aren't long term pets, even for people who like bugs.

There looks are so deceiving. They are shrewd and tricky.

I love basset hounds man.

You are so right Pappy! they are really for rabbit hunting and tracking like their big cousins the Blood Hounds.. and yes if you keep them in trim shape they are extremely fast over short courses ..they can catch a rabbit at full run and make sharp 90 degree turns at full speed. They are so sweet and great with kids, we love our Bassets! :thu:
