some of you may have remembered i had opportunity to snag a 50 watt Marshall jcm800 combo but didn't have the cash.

my buddy aquired it and it died shortly after.

well last night it was brought back to life.

just some loose wires on the input had caused some grief.

it is now alive and well.

what a sweet sound.

can't wait to track some stuff with it.

when i get the traynor up an running it should be a nice wall of dual guitar sound.

ooh yeah , i can't wait.

Zan

Decided to join the forum.Lots of good info in the studio/guitar areas.

Just to clear up the issue with the revived marshall. The wires to the heater cct that are terminated by a screw on the standby switch were very loose,(the screw was practically backed right out),I "think" this was causing excess heat at the poor connection(and thus excess current flow),and always blowing one of the heater fuses.

All is good now.Yeah!

Yea they're Celestion G12M-70s all the way from England and man can they ever make a snare drum rattle!(not to mention loosening up your sinuses).

The marshall was a little intimitating to play at

loud volumes at first but I warmed up to real fast.It reminds me a little of the fender quad reverb combo a had many moons ago.I've been kickin my butt ever since I got rid of that amp(I paid a measley $150 cdn for it and sold it for $200.Boy was I stupid).

wtf! well it is nice to see you here Jim.

i am kind of spoiled by the DG100 and so far only that Marshall has moved me. the bandit is ok but for some reason i can't really warm up to it.

did you post your tunes on the master music stickie at the top?

Note... there is a nice yamaha pac 712 in ZZZmons pics that used to live with me.

i am stupid sometimes. Z will agree to that.
