  1. I am a little bit confused in that discussion about sound and quality of this product. Nobody really played this instrument up to now. So we should wait to the time, when the product is available.
  2. I posted the 23 kg. I got the information from somebody who deals with Hammond organs. I see, it is not correct.
  3. In 10 days we will know more. As I heard,, the unit will have two drawbar sets. They are not positioned left and right. They are positioned front and behind. The weight will be 23 kg. I hope, that these informations are the truth. It is not much. So we have to wait.
  4. I am also hoping, that Hammond will produce a dual manual board. This is a must. It makes no sense to buy a SKX now. The better solution is to buy a SK Pro and to build a second manual on your own. Or Hammond offers this. I hope, they do one of this: SK Pro dual or SKL, the lower manual. This would be a good instrument for all users, who want it lightweight with the sound of the XK5.
  5. Only to your information, what you hear. The Leslie is not the internal Leslie simulation. It is the prototype of the new Leslie 142. Hammond needs still the big Leslie boxes. It is clear. It is additional turnover. Thomas55
  6. Hammond stands for organ. A multi keyboard from Kurzweil, Yamaha, Roland, etc. ist a better choice. I am still waiting for a SKY: SKX with the generator of the XK5.
