  1. I haven't received a reply from Roland, but apparently Lifetime Keys still need to phone home regularly. Ugh.
  2. If only he could have made a v2 with scribble strip screens to go with each set of encoders. The X-Touch series doesn't cut it.
  3. So if you buy a Lifetime Key, the key resides on your HD, and you don"t have to authenticate again, unless you need to reinstall it?
  4. Can"t you just log in to korg id and download the installers manually? https://id.korg.com/users/registered-products I hadn"t even heard of this 'korg software pass' until people started mentioning what a problem it is.
  5. The Jupiter-X might likely outlast this service, and isn"t handcuffed to a Roland account.
  6. Lifetime keys are a good step, but the lack of an offline mode is unappealing.
  7. Link to lifetime key pricing: https://www.rolandcloud.com/roland-account/memberships/
  8. I think those were pre-recorded. Kind of wierd seeing the Stones drummer just miming.
  9. Their fees are extortionate. I cant believe someone in this thread recommends them. As for USPS, it usually transitions to Canada Post in my experince.
  10. Do you have Mainstage? Are the sounds an improvement on that? Ive read ST4 uses a ridiculous amount of ram...?
  11. djdisbro on page 18 said he was able to map the drawbars as midi controls.
  12. What is the Canadian pricing for these? Casio Canada just redirects to Casio USA, so I figure that Rich or Mike would know.
  13. OT: Have they improved the QC on the Nano series? The old ones had poorly soldered USB connectors.
  14. Anyone seen one of these in Canada? They almost seem to be like Unicorns.
