  1. By "around here", he means in his head... dB
  2. They lost me after Leftoverture - commercial success kinda ruined them, IMO. Dust In The Wind - yeesh... I love those other two albums, though. dB
  3. Get "Song For America" and "Masque" right away. Especially "Masque". Trust me. dB
  4. I thought it sounded more like older Kansas actually, with Gentle Giant overtones. dB
  5. Ahhhhhh...the preferred axe of many forum members (including myself). My K. Kawai grand is my baby. Did I mention that we're glad to have you here? NBA thread already in progress. NFL thread is floating around somewhere as well... dB
  6. Greetings, felicitations, and welcome! dB P.S. poly - what's a Yamaha P22?
  7. I really appreciate it when folks take the time to step up to the "mic" and introduce themselves! dB
  8. I love this thread. I'm adding it to the Key Topics sticky. dB
  9. ...and my little dog too? Welcome to the forum, brother Ravi! dB
  10. Thanks to all the people who've taken the time and energy to tell us about themselves! This thread is the second best resource we've got to getting to know more about the people who post here. The KC compilation CDs are still the best, IMO...nothing tells you about a musician like the voice of their music. dB
  11. Rich, Don and Brad - thanks for taking the time to tell us about yerselves! I'm really glad that this thread stays alive - it's really great to know more about the people who post here! dB
  12. Gentlemen - thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourselves. Welcome to the forum! dB
  13. Marco, welcome to the forum! Don't worry about your English - you'll be just fine! Andre, welcome to you as well - sorry I missed your initial post a few weeks ago... dB
  14. Bartolomeo, Tommy, Bob and Sue - Thanks for introducing yourselves! We're glad to have you here! dB
  15. Welcome to the KC, gentlemen! dB
  16. Neither are we, yet. In the past, we did a fixed run based on paid pre-orders - people sent me ten bucks per copy, which covered everything (shipping, packaging, etc); however, I don't wanna be a bank any more and I got tired of telling people that they couldn't get copies after the run was done, so I'm thinking that we may try the Discmakers option this time. dB
  17. Absolutely. You are well-known to many of us (especially those of us from ye olde SSS/AOL days), and your contribution would be welcome. Feel free to PM me if you need more details other than the link Roland posted. dB
  18. I'm not sure what you mean, 09 - it IS named that way... dB
  19. I'm afraid to ask... so you never tried SF's ACID? Well, since there was never a version of Acid for the Mac... dB
  20. As I understand it, Soundtrack was written by the same person who wrote Acid for Sonic Foundry. The tune took me about eight hours from start to finish to get it to where I was happy with it. A lot of that was spent drawing volume and panning envelopes. dB
  21. Just loops. No instruments. Yep, I know it does, but it isn't. It's just the way I assembled the parts. Everything in the piece comes from inside Soundtrack. Thanks, Gus! dB
