This email is making the rounds here at the office, everyone should see it: Subject: Security Notice For Your Information ... There has been a huge purchase of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms on eBAY over the last (30) thirty days. This represents a serious threat as bogus drivers can drop off anything to anyone with deadly conseqeunces. If you have ANY questions when a UPS driver appears at your door, they should be able to furnish VALID I.D. If you have a problem, IMMEDIATELY call security. STAY ALERT!

I received it from official channels here at Hill Air Force Base, and from a friend at Sandia Nuclear Labs in Albuquerque, so yes I'd say its for real. Might want to check IDs if you're accepting packages for your place of business.

"Paranoia, self-destroyer" - Ray Davies ;) I'd be more worried about this, combined with this and this . I can guarantee you terrorists won't be dropping off packages at people's homes dressed as UPS workers. C'mon guys, that's just dumb.

I would be more concerned about this guy, the original terrorist. I never accept a package unless I'm expecting something. UPS drivers aren't allowed to leave stuff in apartment complexes and almost all businesses know their driver on a first name basis.

I dunno about you guys, but whenever UPS shows up at my place, it's the same guy every time. I think if someone i don't recognise showed up one day driving a Hertz Rent-a-Car i'd be suspicious. Besides, would UPS sell thier uniforms?
