Docbop
Just read that Johnny Nash just passed away too. Most remember his big hit "I Can See Clearly Now" what a great singer. He was also the one who helped Bob Marley get a recording contract. A band I worked for we opened for Johnny Nash back in the day and we stayed for his show every night. He had a great band and his singing so soulful. RIP Johnny
KuruPrionz
Crap, I loved his music!!!! Rest in Peace Johnny, thanks for the music. His version of Stir It Up helped Bob Marley get a start. They used to play the Johnny Nash version on AM radio in Fresno, and of course I Can See Clearly Now (which came on the canned music just the other day). Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
Outkaster
Probably one of the best singers and like Eddie Lovette not from any Caribbean island. In the Reggae circles he was pretty well known. We covered some of his stuff. He has a larger catalog of songs than you might think. This is probably one of the most beautiful songs I think I have ever heard.
