It's not half moon shaped. But it was cheap and easy to make.

Telecaster style switch $12, Project Box 3$, cable from junk pile.

I made one of those a while back, looks almost identical to yours. Works great and feels surprisingly substantial to the touch.

9 Moog things, 3 Roland things, 2 Hammond things and a computer with stuff on it

Funny, I have the same project box (got five on Amazon for $10). Haven't built mine yet, but was going to use a mini SPDT toggle (something I already had and quiet). I like your switch better. Might start with what I have, but boy, yours looks nice.

 

Assume you've velcro'd it on.
