And this forum is set to which time zone? Central? I get so confused with that. I always just assume it's set to East Coast time. Anyway, Chip, Strep SUCKS! That, combined with a sinus infection, can definitely lead to other ailments like bronchitis. I hope you've seen a doctor you trust. Drink lots of liquids, and take your vitamins, especially C. Take care of yourself. Stay away from the political threads until you're healthy! ;)

Sorry to hear you're under the weather, Chip. :( May it pass quickly. I haven't had strep in at least a decade. (Fumbling to do dozens of superstitious good luck charms. :D ) I hate being sick. It hardly matters when the time change occurs for me. My daughter will still wake me up long before I get enough rest! ;) Just slightly different amounts of, "Huh... what...? Sure, Lilly. Here's your oatmeal and apple juice...zzzz... I'm awake!" :D Penguinsarebirds Auugghhh!! My wife's relatives live in Austin/Scottsburg/Crothersville, about 30 miles from the Kentucky border on I-65. Drives me nuts trying to keep the time difference straight between us. We were a 1/2 hour late to a funeral last December because we mis-judged the time difference. Of course we thought we were a 1/2 hour early. :freak:

I was playing a gig in Dodgeville, WI Satutrday night when the time change hit...it was about 1:30 "old time" when a cop gets onstage and tells us to stop playing, that the bar is closed, and everyone has to leave. He could have been discreet, intelligent, and professional and simply notified the bar manager that due to the time change everyone had to leave, but noooo...he had to make a scene and give himself a little power trip. Oh well...I got to get out a little earlier and I was pretty pooped :D but still...what is it with small town cops? Are they "compensating for something"? :D TP

We were playing in Pewaukee, WI on Saturday. The cops were a bit more discreet but they kept telling us that WE had to get out of the bar. We weren't even done tearing down and we had yet to get paid.

Pity, that place (the Red Room) is a pretty cool room, decent stage area. I'm planning on taking the B-3 next time we play there... :) I'm told they don't pull silliness like that in any of the Madison clubs...Madtown's pretty easy-going about stuff mostly. Nice to hear from another WI muso btw (I'm a recent transplant from Michigan...) :) TP www.crush-band.com
