LiveMusic
I have not and I was wondering if this new system has found favor or not? Is it superior? Did it jack up the price any? > > > [ Live! ] < < <
picker
Pricewise, it's hard to tell with Taylors. Dang, they are proud of those boxesa! Soundwise, it's smoother than a piezo by a mile, but I think the Fishman I-beam Active sounds more natural. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else. TeleCarlos
Nothing new here but... and do comment on the new Takamine things with a 3 volt tube in them!?!? The reviewers in GP seemed to like it.
roy d
I've played the taylor... it is essentially a magnetic pickup and a top mounted transducer through a blender. Folk have been doing that for years and that is IMHO, the best sounding system. Still theirs is no better than a Sunrise & a McIntyre and not much better than the new Baggs M1. I played the Taks too. They're OK but my understanding is that battery life is only about 3 hours!!! roy Roy http://www.soundclick.com/bands/8/alexisdmusic.htm "once it stops bein' a mystery it stops bein' true" David Mowaljarlai - Ngarinyin Aboriginal Elder
Tedster
I thought L.R. Baggs made the I-Beam. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
