I like bluestrat's version of G but I have to say my favorite is what I call "G ambiguous." :D

I like to leave out the third:

I use that chord when Im playing Ace of Spades. My favorite chord would probaply have to be F# Diminished.

At least I think it's an F# Diminished?

yep, me too.

It always sounds so good when it comes up in a song. I often use it instead of Am because I just like it.

I also like E7-5#9 played thus...

I use this anytime I can. I think it's the famous cord from Purple Haze. Not sure though.

I'd say that's a Eb6. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hmmm.. My favourite changes over time, and for now I don't really have one. I do like maj7 chords a lot, though.

How many notes?

Standard triad? means three names for the cord.

Six notes and we have one root and five inversions.

Are we sure it's just one darn chord?

hah yeah, that scene's golden. the part that still gets me worse than any of the others in the movie is when they lower the stonehenge scenery down and they're all just staring in shock. oh man that's funny every time.

and for my favorite chord, i'd go with a...Cadd9.

Then you'll never hear surf music again...

I bought A Flat, Diminished responsability. It's A Minor point but G, augmented by the Sharpness of your... C what I'm going through A, to B with you in A Flat by the C .

Oh wait...did you say one chord. Then I pick one of the 9ths or this one: (Help me out guys, It's been a long day.)

1----x----

2----8----

3----7----

4----6----

5----7----

6----0----

i like to lay this over minor, major, or dominant:

--x--

--5--

--4--

--7--

--x--

--5--

it's just root, octave, 9th, 5th and gives a cool ambigous feel.

2nd fav is probably this minor 11.

Hendrix chord: E7#9

I think everyone seems to like that chord. Personally its too cliched now. SRV and Hendrix wore it out. If I wrote a song with it in there I'd feel like a poser.

Shut up and play.
