Oops- In case I wasn't clear, the 'bold font type' is a click-on link to that thread.

If you already figured that out for yourself, I don't mean to be patronizing or anything, just thorough!

Ask yourself- What Would Ren and Stimpy Do?

This old salt of an engineer did manage to figure that out.

Was it you with the old Traynor? Andy likes playing Dr Frankenstein with them. I guess their transformers were pretty good.

I'll probably send the ol' Traynor off to "Dumble Camp" to see what it's like after he Fuchs around with it... when I've got around $800.00 and some other things, both practical and G.A.S.-related, taken care of first. It'll give it a new lease on life!

Yep, and an amp you could stick with for a lifetime. Probably the last tube amp you'd ever need.

i read on the fuchs site that he USED to do dumble clones.. does that mean the production model amps he does now arent "cloned"? if so does anyone here know if he would do an exact replica of one of the dumble circuts? i think there are a few differnt amp types that dumble made, not to mention the supposed "voicing" he would do for each individual customer... but you get my point. the idea of getting THAT TONE without THAT PRICE seems really cool. to me at least.

I think it means Andy doesn't want to get sued or be bothered by the antics of Mr "H.A." Dumble. Some of his customers would spell the name "Dumbell".

Apparently the guy is rather full of himself.

Uh, I don't; I hadn't read anything of Mr. Howard Dumble's demise, anyways!

As far as Andy Fuchs and Howard Dumble, their not associated, as far as I know.

bluestrat is up on many Dumble-y points of interest, though...
