Pretzel logic
Everyone knows all the artist that covered his tunes, but did you every listen to how great of a guitarist he is.I dug out his NATURALLY and 5 albums,he mixes alot of jazz and blues into his songwriting. The song Sensitive Kind from 5 is really great.Naturally has a song called, Call the doctor, that is classic. Magnolia from the same album, stands as one of the greatest ballads ever written. To me anyway.I am sure some people don't like him, but you owe it to you're self to check him out.Hidden treasuer for sure.

member 30687
XCan't recall the other names offhand ["AH'LL BE BACK!"] but he's not the only guitarist on those records.
skipclone 1
I used to play `Hey baby` live-not sure who played on that one but I think it was JJ and somone on pedal steel-very tasty exchange of licks on that one. Tedster
We used to cover "Magnolia" a long time ago. Geez...I kinda forgot about J.J. Cale. Hearing idiots in the bar holler "COCAINE" for about the 80 thousandth time kinda ruined it...although most of them had no idea who J.J. Cale was.
