Acoustic Through Twin? Not Exactly...

As a favor to a friend, I'm playing a session tonight playing acoustic with a rather loud blues/rock band.

My choices are to run through a Fender Twin, or my borrowed, trusty, Kalamazoo 112 Reverb. I'll be running through my equally trusty Zoom unit... the original one.

The Kalamazoo, while very quaint and good sounding at average levels, is probobly under-powered for this situation.

So... has anyone out there ever used a Twin with an acoustic?

Will it work? Or should I bring the 4003 and trade off with the bassist, just in case? :D

Let me know, if you can. The gig is in six hours...

You really should have something full range (Speaker and horn) for acoustic.

Would it be possible to use a D.I. into the board and get a wedge monitor. Then bring it through the mains.

Or, you could D.I. it to the mains, and use the Twin just for stage volume.
