Definately a neck and neck race between Lee Flier and the Tedster.

There are some other fine posters out there. Guit, Popmusic, Scott (MA) and many more.

Hmmm, well there's Lee...Neil, Khan, SteveRB, Scott, Strat...Guit...Rosespappy...W F...Uhhh...the list goes on. The list goes on. The drums keep pounding rhythm to the brain. La di da di dee...la di da di daaa...GOD HELP ME...I'M STUCK IN A "SONNY AND CHER" LOOP...

But, then, of course, is the absolute master at looking at the world from a slightly altered stance...the Chipster hisself...

But Chip, you've got me worried. One of these days, your head's gonna explode...

I'll have to vote for the moderators and the occational expert that stops in. I mean, all you guys are cool and I love to hear your viewpoints, but when Mr. Taylor from Taylor guitars pops in, or Craig or one of the other FM's answers your question, I just feel it's a small world and I'm glad I found this little piece of it.

Agreed, DC, and while we're at it, let's have a hand for our own dear Lisa Sharken. Although she doesn't post prolifically, she's very aware of the goings on here, and she's always got some really cool advice on just anything guitar related. And she really knows her itshay, from performance stuff, to amp tech stuff, to Dan Erlewine-isms...

Here here (raises glass)...

Plus, she puts up with idiots like me...

I owe a debt of gratitude to Jules who convinced me to raise the bar and purchase some better gear (ADA, MICPRE, COMPRESSOR) than I was planning.

NIKA for his thorough, thoughtful research.

Phil O for his encouraging words

Dave F for moderating the tech forum I prefer to post in.

There's many more

Oh boy! More "favorite" threads! Now I get to bump them all back up to the top!!!!

Chip and Tedster - Chip's ironic intellectual musings are so entertaining that he should be getting paid to compose them (not to mention the fact that he's right on the money about 105% of the time).

If any trouble arises, Ted's easygoing posts blow the ill will away faster than a fart gets sucked out of a wind tunnel.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Dan...I hope you realize that you made me spew quantities of coffee through my nose with that...

Thanks... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Hmmm, just had a big bowl of chili for dinner. Where can I find a wind tunnel???

SEE!!! SEE!!! Where can I find a windtunnel?!?

hehehehe... I think I love this forum above all others simply because of the overall flavor. Tedster,Simon,Neil,Lisa, Lee, and all the rest.It really is a great cross-section of personality and experience. It's sort of like reading 50 books at once. Every time I finish a book, I've just come into possession of a huge portion of knowledge and experience, that took someone years to compile. And only hours to glean... This forum is sort of a Readers Digest Condensed Version of that.

Good good people..........

And now a lesson on how to accumulate over 3000 posts on a UBB Forum...

Yeah, Ted. In the future, please restrict yourself to posts with meaningful content, like links to pictures of cartoon aliens. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif

Couldn't find any aliens. Khan must've stolen 'em all. All I could find was this:

I think that's pretty meaningful, though...

Isn't this the poster where the word SEX is spelled out in her golden locks? Can someone point this out to me?

Y'know, I just saw a VH1 Behind The Music show on Blondie. They said Debbie Harry was the one who made dark roots chic. I beg to differ. Farrah had quite a hightlight job back in 1975 (when I was young and innocent in the ways of hair treatments and assumed that she just looked this way). If this pic is any indication, she's about as blonde as Ronald Reagan.

If you look closely at her face, you can tell that she's nervous. She was very insecure about her looks and very uncomfortable posing for the camera. Go figure!

Here's a pic of Farrah in...(THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT) 1963 as a high school sophomore.

I was six in 1963...JEEZ!!!
