llew-miirddin
I see that you're very well organised around. It's a pleasure to discover this place. I'm a fingerstyle player, and use to play celtic and selfmade ballads in opens tuning. Mostly in DADGAD, DADF#AD, CGDGCD, CGCGCD, DADGBE. I'm waiting for the french luthier Franck CHEVAL to built my last guitar, and besides, i'm working for the film industry. (We make special effects). I also have two James Trussart electric guitars, but i still don't use them yet. I have a board not as good as this one, but that you can visit at http://pub18.ezboard.com/bfriends23884 They are some links around that you may find useful (perhaps) I'm french, live in Paris, and guitar is my yoga. I'll come around from time to time. Have fun

Lisa
Welcome to our forum! We will be looking forward to hearing news about the ongoings in Paris and learning more about the instruments and equipment that are trendy in France. I've seen several Trussart guitars and think they're excellent, but I have never seen any instruments made by Frank Cheval. Do you know if his instruments are imported to the US? llew-miirddin
Hi!Hi! Thanks for your warm welcome. Everybody is working in public relations, and most of the musicians do it more than others...he!he! We all have the possibility to be cool with everyone.Isn't it? For the James Trussart guitars, you can visit his site, send him mails, http://www.jamestrussart.com/ and i can tell you that he moved in USA in december. That means that all his guitars are now made in USA!!! He's a friend so you can tell him that you've got the link to him by Sylvain from Duran and he will understand. Sylvain is my real surname. I don't use it on internet, i forgot why... For Franck Cheval, here are some of the guitars that he made http://www.tplm.com/guitaremaster/paris2001/cheval/home.htm http://www.toutpourlamusique.com/guitaremaster/francfort2001/cheval/home.htm Mine is going to be an OM grand concert with a head like martins's heads, and a personnal design with a good sunburst and good wood. I'll have it next june.... have fun and see you around This message has been edited by llew-miirddin on 08-02-2001 at 01:57 PM
