Cool, an old Traynor. I knew a lot of folks that had Traynors back in the day. I'd like to get my hands on one, if even only for posterity.

Can't say I'm all that familiar with that model. There is a website somewhere that is devoted to old Traynors...do a word search...

Hey Ted I am only 34 so I have only heard of the fabled old Traynors. This one is a brand spanking new one being sold by Yorkville.40 watt 1x12 3-12ax7's and two 5881's. A celestion speaker etc. I am very interested in getting one because for what it seems to offer for the price it would be dumb not to! But the dealer here won't get one unless I buy one. lol so I am curious as to whether anyone has heard this amp.

offhand i don't remember that model, but do some searching. the yba1? head (can't remeber the exact model number) is an amazing all tube unit with huge huge transformers that is very close to a plexi marshall circuit and can easily be modded into a serious beast....
