dansouth
Attention six-stringers and anyone else this may concern: I've had the great pleasure of listening to some of Khan's music this past week, and I would like to say for the record that... ...HE KICKS ASS!!!!!!! This guy is a monster guitarist. Actually, I don't really believe that he's just "some guy" from upstate New York. He's really David Gilmour lurking on these boards anonymously. Okay, David. You're busted. We KNOW who you are. Now send back the bass, because we know that rich megastars like you can buy your own equipment. What? You gave it to Roger? Well, I guess that's okay. Khan - you ROCK!!!! Very impressive, my man!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not worthy! I'm not worth! I'm not worthy! ... michael saulnier
I Khan't believe it... Have we all been victims of a big Khan? He says he's in a pink floyd Khan-ver band and lives Khan-tently in upstate NY, but there's a rumor that that Khan't be true and he's actually David himself. Simon, you must know your own Khan'd, is Khan really an Englishman? Son of a Khan, if it's true, how is it that he's so Khan-founded funny? I mean it would be cool if we were interacting with a true rock I-Khan... But would David really be so Khan-desending as to Khan-ect with all us "little people"? Personally, I Khan't believe it. guitplayer I'm still "guitplayer"! Check out my music if you like... http://www.michaelsaulnier.com

Dirty_Dave
Khan, I do believe you could have any one of this gentlemen if you so chose. Praps you should 'mount' a cross country tour sleeping with all your online groupies. Sorry bout the pun, I now realize it was wrong. I'm intrigued now, is it magnetic personality and razor-sharp wit? fantastical musical ability and innovation? or did these two things have a fling producing the great Khan? I'm just about to check out your tunes, then I'll expose your smoke and mirrors!!! Mwaa Ha Ha! ( or I'll post another message with less bull and more zombie-like, " Khan, Khan, I love Khan") until then.... ------------------

Uh, well, perhaps, if'n I was a "happy camper"..."gay blade"...etc. Not to detract from anyone's personal preferences...whatever floats anyone's boat, y'know...to quote Lennon "Whatever gets you through the night"...but me, I love women WAAAYYYY too much. And, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I don't care about anyone's sexuality 'cept my own, and, uh, I guess my wife's http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif... Lord knows, ain't no room in the music business for gay bashers, what with idols like Freddy Mercury, David Bowie, Pete Townshend, Michael Stipe, etc. (notice I left out very talented but overly commercial openly gay stars that dress in duck costumes, etc...) Tedster
Oh yeah, probably bi, actually..Pete Townshend's been quoted as saying "I'll put it in whoever happens to be (handy and willing)" as well as a bit VH1 ran where Townshend explicitly states that he saw Mick Jagger (another guy with myriad sexual tendencies) dancing backstage in '65 and it was (direct quote from Pete) "...the first time I realized I wanted to f*&k a man". dansouth
Khan got positive feedback because he sent me a CD of his music, and I was very impressed with his playing ability. How does that translate into sexual attraction? Are you sexually attracted to guitar heros? Most of us aren't, but hey, if that's your thing, enjoy it. Just leave us out of it. We're only in it for the music (and the chicks).
dansouth
I made a harmless remark. Harmless, perhaps. Also tastless, irresponsible, calculated, and pointlessly cruel. If someone we knew better had make this "harmless remark," it might have come across as a joke, albeit not a very good one. But you show up on our doorstep and suggest to someone that we respect, and whom you don't know at all, that people who've said nice things about him want to get into his pants. Thanks so much for adding your uniquely insightful perspective to our forum. Boy, it sure was dull here when all we talked about was guitars and music! Relax. And I can only imagine that that's one of your favorite songs. Please don't be offended. I was only making a harmless remark.
