donfolkcafe.com Posted April 17, 2001 Share Posted April 17, 2001 Hi all. Well I haven't had to buy a guitar in over 25 year. I've just been happy with what I had. Well my acoustic had a terrible accident and is no longer. So I have been shopping for a new one. I had been considering the Martin's but until I get up in the price range I have not found what I wanted. Today I found a Gibson WM-10 in a local shop that also has plenty of the lower end Martin's. Well I liked the sound much better than the 15 and 16 series Martin's. What I want to know is how are these built? What are some longer term impressions? I checked the Gibson web site and it seems this is from the 98 model line. It is no longer a current model. Not that this would bother me. I have tried a number of acoustic's trying to find a replacement but until I get beyond my price range I am finding little that meets both sound and playing comfort that I am looking for.
