Danielle00
Hey. I have a yamahaMO8, as well as a 828 MKII MOTU interface..running it on dp 4.61. i'm having trouble working with more than 1 instrument sound (from mo8) in dp. this isn't a multi recording issue. i'll use motif8-1 for an output, and then in the next track, i'll use motif8-2, but the sound is exactly the same as motif8-1. my patches seem to be correct. i called motu, but they thought i'd better ask yamaha. i really need to get this up and going, so if there is anyone out there that can help me out, i would greatly apprectiate it. thanks, danielle

Sven Golly
Your MO8 needs to be set in Mixing mode to be able to respond multitimbrally. See this FAQ section on Motifator.com for more info. Oh, and that manual that came with the Mo8 is generally helpful, if you open it up and read it. Welcome to the forum!
