I've played lots of outdoor winter gigs... as long as there's a directional space heater next to the keyboard rig, and it's not a blizzard or ice storm during the gig, I'm all for it. Nothing like looking out over the crowd and seeing the steaming breath of hundreds or thousands of revellers! Of course, the fact that I'm Canadian means... No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.
