MikeT156
"Regular use" is the key statement in the question. I only use my vintage gear occasionally. Oldest KB: Rhodes Mark 1 Suitcase Piano, 1979 Prophet 5 Rev 3.2 1981 Moog Source, early version, built around 1981, I'm not home right now so I can't check the date on the unit. Arp Odyssey Model III, Mfg 1981. Everything still works great and I enjoy powering different KB's up to have a little fun. Mike T. Yamaha Motif ES8, Alesis Ion, Prophet 5 Rev 3.2, 1979 Rhodes Mark 1 Suitcase 73 Piano, Arp Odyssey Md III, Roland R-70 Drum Machine, Digitech Vocalist Live Pro. Roland Boss Chorus Ensemble CE-1. Moonglow
I regularly gig with my MKS-80 and D-550. My venerable Prophet 5 (Rev. 3 with MIDI upgrade) remains my studio queen. Carbon111
In my studio, the oldest often-used keyboard is a Acrosonic spinet from 1959 but the oldest often-used electronic board is this beast from 1979: http://www.carbon111.com/lambda.html ...the sound is suprisingly full and very, very analog Best Regards, James -- http://cdbaby.com/cd/carbon1112 http://www.carbon111.com
jay da cop
Still use an 0/1wpro, WavestationSR, K2000, Matrix 1000, M3R, D4 (2) as part of my live setup, sometimes controlled by my Ensoniq SQ80 (which I use for my laptop) and Roland MKB300 (which I am now replacing as my other one finally bought the proverbial farm). Newest piece is my Alesis QRS and QS7.1. Jay
