It's a buncha drunks in the street, but it looks like fun. MidLifeCrisis
Seems pretty tame and mild. No wild costumes, no wild partying, no exchanging peaks for beads. Appears to be a bunch of tourists waiting for something to happen. Most of the regular party people must be in Houston. ITGITC
Yup. You have to watch for awhile, but since it's a live transmission, you might see anything. I had it playing in the background last night when I heard some hollering. I looked and sure enough, there were two women exchanging a peak for beads. Quite interesting live entertainment. I'm glad to see New Orleans trying to get back on its feet. They need this. What's troubling about New Orleans and Bourbon Street is that, if you're not careful, the woman who you may be admiring from down the block turns out to be 'something else' when you get a little closer. Sometimes it's VERY hard to get it right. This can be confusing. Especially after a few beers.
