Pierre Posted February 10, 2006 Share Posted February 10, 2006 Hello Masic Players, Sometime, I resample an entire song using 12db boost and save it to a WAV on the disk. Then I will sometime tweak the wav in Adobe Audition. I find that on a lot of occasion the sound level of the song being saved is low. This is the reason I compensate by boosting 12db during resampling. I will also boost the level a couple of DBs as well in Adobe Audition. What am I missing? My mix levels are always at least past the 50% mark for each track in the ES. Also how can I measure via software the optimal DB level and what it should be?
