I presumed it was the KMC61, since it is clearly not the PC161 (which is clearly readable on one of the other keyboards in one of the pictures in the earlier "FF 2005" photo set) and those are the only two new models (KMC61 and PC161)mentioned for Frankfurt.

 

61-key controller, probably USB? Just guessing.

Well fortunately, the 1 1/3 drawbar on a hammond isn't that useful and since the percussion is wired to one drawbar, you'll loose one anyway.

 

But I don't think Kurzweil used this kind of reasoning. :rolleyes:

I hope Kurzweil will regroup soon and start giving us innovative instruments again.

 

However, I also hope their new instruments will scrap that K2000-type keyboard forever. I find it just unplayable - that's the reason I sold my first K2000 within weeks, and got the rack.
