shniggens
Watched the movie for the first time last night. The re-occuring "theme" song "Ragtime Nightengale" is beautiful! Alas, I found no credits for the performance or composition with the film. Anyone know where I might be able to pick up the sheets for this wonderful piece? linwood
That's a great movie! "RAGTIME NIGHTINGALE" Composed by JOSEPH LAMB Performed by DAVID BOEDDINGHAUS
ksoper
I have a collection of Ragtime piano pieces that includes many of Lamb's compositions. While Joplin got the press, many of Lamb's pieces are equally wonderful and, if I'm not mistaken, pre-dated Joplin's work. I might be able to find that book... k. shniggens
Cool, thanks! It wasn't a quick find, but I finally found it in this book - http://gfx.sheetmusicplus.com/store/120x160/HL-00490247.GIF Now I just gotta wait a week to play it!
