I wanted to know if any of you is using this synth, would you recommend it? are the arpeggiator and the effecto synchable to midi clock? I want this synth many time ago, mainly because its cheap and souns really good. What would be a fair price for it new? clusterchord Posted December 27, 2004 Share Posted December 27, 2004 i can only say i really never liked how it sounds.Among other things, filter is harsh and has zipper noise when changed. To me, it sounded like thin ROMpler more than a decent VA code. only time people were discussing it lately was when Roland dealers started clearing them out for $200 or so - i guess it is the cheapest VA thing out there with knobs programming interface out there. first next would be Virus A or B i guess, and that is at least dbl price. arp and delays i presume are syncable, as have been on all Roland synths since JD990, more or less. i'm sorry, just my $0.02. http://www.babic.com - music for film/theatre, audio-post Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
