Superbobus
Aha, you switched to Mac! Anyway, I had the FP8 and I think the EP's really suck. They are sooo thin. http://www.bobwijnen.nl Hipness is not a state of mind, it's a fact of life.
Michiel
Hi Bob! Yaeh, Garageband is increddible. About the fp-8: you helped me out of a dream Do you still have the p-120? I am considering buying a board for small live things, other than my s-90. I had the p-120 but sold it (to buy a s-90). Played the pf-5 but was very dissapointed. GReetz! Superbobus
I still use the P120 at bigband gigs, or if I don't want to use my Rhodes (weddings, rainy festivals), or if I want good action and not the hassle of the MIDI controller/laptop setup. The P120 is a freakin' workhorse. http://www.bobwijnen.nl Hipness is not a state of mind, it's a fact of life.
Jazz+
I read a review that said the Roland FP8, FP1, RD600 and RD500 used the Roland PA4 action. The review claimed the PA4 action was a little bouncier than the newer PA5 action. The PA5 is said to be a little less bouncy and in the FP3, FP5 and RD700.
