I'm filling in the keyboard chair with Atomic Brothers this summer, a Montreal-based hip-hop/funk/house/soul band. The dates are: June 18 - Escogriffe (4467a St. Denis), Montreal, 10 pm, $7 June 27 - Toronto Pride North Stage (Church & Gloucester), 8 pm July 5 - Jello Bar (151 Ontario E.), Montreal, 10 pm, ~$6? July 11 - Ottawa Pride (Bank St.) July 23 - Casa del Popolo (4873 St. Laurent), Montreal August 25 - Jello Bar, Montreal My setup is a QS8 (or whatever fullsize keyboard the out of town gig provides me... we played this weekend in Boston and they gave me a PC88) and a Juno-106. L'Esco rocked -- I played the bass player's RD-100 through his wah, plus the Juno-106, and the guitar player was in California at his brother's wedding! Weehaw! Also, on another gear note, I forgot to mention the bassist sometimes plays synth bass on a Korg MS-20.
