DanS Posted March 31, 2004 Share Posted March 31, 2004 I finally got my new Athlon64 machine on Monday, and have been busy loading up all the software. I checked on Midiman's site, and the Portman 2/4 doesn't have an XP driver. I haven't tried the old one yet, but in case it doesn't work, any suggestions on rock steady USB midi I/F's (I've got 8 USB ports!)??. Midex? Midisport? Any input welcome. Another Bob Posted April 4, 2004 Share Posted April 4, 2004 XP sometimes forces me to reinstall Midisport on my laptop. No idea why but it has happened 5 or more times in the past year. I remember MOTU stuff not working so well with Windows platforms. Have things improved? What we record in life, echoes in eternity.
