daBowsa
Before the Super Bowl, my buddy threw on a Ben Harper DVD concert from the Hollywood Bowl. From what I could tell, the keyboard player had a B3, 2 Nord Electros and a Nord Lead. He used the Electro on top of the B3 for clav, and the Electro to his left, beneath the Lead, for Rhodes/Wurly. I was blown away that 2 Electros on stage were never used for their acclaimed Hammond emulation. Life is good when you're using an Electro for clav only! Reverend Rhythm
We should all be so lucky! And I bet he had people to help him move the B3! Hey, I still like my life. David
yannis D
But... what is he using for piano? I have the DVD but haven't heard it all yet. Using Nord for clav and wulri sounds is great... but for piano????? Yannis (a happy Nord Eead and Nord Electro user-no piano soundz!!) Reagrds Be grateful for what you've got - a Nord, a laptop and two hands
eric
That's a pretty cool rig! You can see photos here: Ben Harper Keys Seems like an overt Clavia product placement to have 3 Nords in the same rig, but they are excellent instruments!
