He sits in front of a billboard that lists the Republican Obstructionist policies and complains tht Rush called him an Obstructionist and that caused him to be threatened......what a looser. This is not a happy time for liberals..the American people are starting to figure out that just saying "I'm not a conservative" and having no real ideas or solutions is not enough anymore. Next stop..watch them try to get government control of talk radio. Control of the print and broadcast media is obviously not enough. Mark G. They both whine way too much for my tastes. They deserve each other. And I don't want to hear about liberal control of the media, which conservatives claim to be fact, or conservative control of the media, which liberals claim to be a fact. They're both wrong. RATINGS control the media; THE QUEST FOR A FATTER BOTTOM LINE controls the media. If people didn't tune in to Rush Limbaugh, who it must be remembered is primarily an entertainer, he would be off the air. Republicans need to remember that the upsurge in conservatism is NOT a mandate. They made that mistake in 1995. It is an upsurge by default, because the Democrats haven't offered anything better. The United States is, fundamentally, neither a conservative nor liberal nation but a complex mix of the two. The first party that produces policies based on pragmatism rather than ideology will get my loyalty and gratitude! I do some work in radio, and I have a few friends in the radio biz. I asked a program director buddy of mine why this is so, and he told me that though people like to scream the phrase, "Liberal Media" fact is the media is largely owned by conservative republican organizations. Rush Limbaugh is no more legit than Howard Stern. Al Franken wrote a book a while back called: "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot". I bought it just for the title. And if you wonder where the other voices are, just remember Bill Maher. You know why he no longer has a show dont' you?
