alan scobie Posted August 25, 2002 Share Posted August 25, 2002 Hi guys Just a quick overview Mac G4 Cubase 5.1 Unitor 8 MK2 yamaha digi piano Akai samplers couple of synths Roland XV3080 Problem is....I have noticed that when triggering certain sounds on the XV3080 there is a definite click when the key is released. I am using the Yamaha as the mother and I am sure I would have noticed it before. It is especially noticable on bass sounds Any Ideas? marino Posted August 25, 2002 Share Posted August 25, 2002 Check that everything is properly grounded. The clicks you're hearing may be the MIDI note-off messages. I'm not an expert on this, but sometimes ago I had MIDI messages (note on and off, clocks etc.) showing up in the audio path through the output of my Yamaha TG77. Turned out to be ground loops; changing a few cable routings and switching some wall outlets resolved the problem. Hope this makes sense.
