MD3X Posted February 15, 2002 Share Posted February 15, 2002 Interested in hearing from ProTools/Digital Performer users, best results achieved when tracking synths and samplers, and which or what combination of the following would offer better quality when using either a Digi001 or Motu 1224, or 828: DI box or direct? DI box or Preamp($500 -$1000 range)? Both? External A/D convertor (Lucid/Rosetta)? I only plan to use my Mackie mixer for monitoring purposes and looking for quality when tracking. Thanks.
