BBach
When will the adat cards be available for the KSP ?
Mike Martin
I'm told we'll see the ADAT/TDIF card in late February. The RSP8 should be available then as well. As soon as I have a more specific update I'll let you know here. -Mike Martin Casio Mike Martin Photography Instagram Facebook The Big Picture Photography Forum on Music Player Network The opinions I post here are my own and do not represent the company I work for. BBach
Thanks for the update. I,ve had the KSP8 for about a month now and would recommend it highly to anyone.(unless they want a sample rate above 48K.) The sound is as advertised. It can do almost any kind of DSP, is incredibly flexible, and just a terrific bang/buck.
Geosync
Here's a treat for you. These are the studios used for the MP3 file demos at the Kurzweil web site ftp://208.56.97.172/pub/KSP8/CDDEMO.mid Take Care, George Hamilton Yamaha US
BBach
Impatient consumers want to know. Kurzweil upgrades are only worth the wait after they are released. The stuff is always stellar once it comes out, but man , it takes forever. The KSP8 options will apparently, follow this time honored Kurzweil tradition. What's the latest guess on when the adat/tascam cards will ship? Mike Martin
BBach, I enquired about this yesterday after seeing your post. I hope to have a concrete answer this afternoon. Thank you for your patience, it won't be that much longer. -Mike Martin Casio Mike Martin Photography Instagram Facebook The Big Picture Photography Forum on Music Player Network The opinions I post here are my own and do not represent the company I work for. Mike Martin
Midirat, You own a KSP8? I can send you the .ksp file if you wish. You'd need a smartmedia card reader for your computer to transfer the file to the KSP8. -Mike Martin Casio Mike Martin Photography Instagram Facebook The Big Picture Photography Forum on Music Player Network The opinions I post here are my own and do not represent the company I work for. BBach
I couldn't get the midi file to work either. I've got a smart media card and a reader and would like to get those objects. My e-mail is: lizardfolk@peoplepc.com. By the way, I finally got the adat card. I usually patch it across the 8 busses of the DA7 mixer in the insert mode of slot 3.It is the swiss army knife of effect processors. Very cool! If you don't have the time to send the patches, don't feel bad, I'll be conjuring up plenty of sonic mayhem on my own. Thanks, Brian Bach
Geosync
Here are several KSP8 Studio banks ftp://208.56.97.172/pub/KSP8/ all of these require Smart Media . I also believe that these use ADAT I/O. The ADAT options should be available within the next 2-3 weeks Take Care, George Hamilton Yamaha US
