bigbeats
Im in the market for a pro sampler. I have used akai mpcs and they have always been fine for drums and sequencing, but im looking for something with a bit of flexability and power to use with an mpc. The sampler will be used mostly for sampling, but also with sound libraries. any suggestions or opinions?
spinichARF
I have heard nothing but praise about the Yamaha A4000/A5000 samplers... except for very long SCSI load times... great fx and easy to use features and stuff...
Dan O
Yes ...The A4000 from Yamaha has been reduced all across the USA . $799.99 for the A4000 = 128 megs plus it reads Akai and Yamaha formats . S5000 vs ...E6400 ???? The Akai s5000 offers a nicer screen than the E6400. You can also add USB interface to S5000 as well . I would check around and shop hard if you truely go hardware type sampler . The prices are dropping on hardware samplers ....... Have you considered Software based samplers ? dano www.esnips.com/web/SongsfromDanO
