CP Posted September 6, 2001 Share Posted September 6, 2001 Recently bought a Yamaha p-80. Sometimes the keys in the lower to mid octaves sound too deep. Do I need to transpose the keys, or is it that I am not accustomed to a true piano sound? What's the deal with Kurzweil keyboards? Every time I asked about the SP models, I was told that they have a history of breaking down. Sam Ash in NY told me they are going to discontinue carrying that line.
