DP midiproblems

Hello!

I want to use DP 2.7 with Unity DS-1 and Koblo Studio. (I have used them both with ProTools without any problems.)

I have to use OMS to connect my USB midisport 2x2 with DP, but that shouldn't be a problem (also using the latest freemidi-drivers), right?

In DP:

1. I get midisignals from my controller keyboard when watching the midimonitor

2. I can see and change my programs on the Unity from a miditrack

3. I can even play the Unity from the leftside "soft keyboard" in the midieditor window.

4. I CAN'T get the midisignal from my controller to "connect" with a miditrack!!!

What do I do wrong, this shouldn't be a hard one to solve. (My retailer says he doesn't understand my problem...)

One billion thanks to the one who can help me with this!

/Robertsal

I don't know the ins and outs (no pun intended) of these two programs, but it seems to me that you are missing a step where you tell either DP or the softsynths how to talk to each other...in B4, there is a specific window that patches which controller in my studio will be triggering it after I added it to my FreeMIDI setup. Do these programs have such a thing?

Another thought - do either of these synths show up in your outputs list in the tracks window?

Stupid question - you are running DP in OMS emulation mode, yes?

Just trying to help,
